I don't idolize her but she is talented and pretty.

Kate Winslet, unlike Angelina Jolie,Spears, etc is one of those women that don't do a whole lot to try and catch everyone's attention.She is modest, and doesn't have a sex scene everyother minute. Lastly she can act and after Titanic, which is one of the best romance movies ever, her popularity ovbiously went up. Hey not just girls, I like Kate Winslet too.

Why is Kate so idolized you ask?
I will tell you why I think. She is so down to earth,
she is proud of her curves and she isn't one of those
actresses that has to lose soo much weight for roles
for movies, and her main focus is her children. Which
is great for Hollywood. Don't jump on the super skinny train.
She is happy being her! And she is a great actress in my opinon!

She is absolutely beautiful and has a nice fuller figure than say kate moss. She has a cool personality down to earth plus she did a kick *** job in Titanic.

Because she's more of a realistic idea of what a woman's healthy body-type is. And she's honest. When they airbrushed her photos in a magazine (like they do everyone's) she came out and said that's not what she really looks like. She's a lady and doesn't have to act like a complete wh*re to get attention. She's also very talented and has shown she has a range of acting skills.
The funny thing is that people call her "full-figured" or "curvy", but she's normal.

I dont think its idolizing her, its the respect she gets because she is not trying to be a size 2. She's the size that is right for her and is satisfied with it.

all i can say is at least she isn't walking around like a stick figure. i was looking at some photographs on a celebrity website today, and there is a SERIOUS problem in Hollywood right now. i believe young girls should be eating healthy and be active, but the way Hollywood women look right now as role models..they are just starving themselves...i hope our young girls aren't emulating them.

oh they do? well, whatever the reason is, it's just normal for a celebrity to be idolized. what's bad is if they have formed into a cult or something. that's creepy!

becuz u don't see her in the news about her having affairs or eating disorders. plus she is a talented actress and was awesome in Titanic
