The episode was called 'The Trouble with Tribbles'. It was about a furry little creature called a tribble which many people thought was very cute and cuddly. The problem with them was they were worse than rabbits for, well, making babies. Pretty soon, the entire ship was overrun with them, causing malfunctions everywhere ("But captain, there's no time!" "Scotty, listen to me! You must make the time! I need more time").
Synopsis:
When the U.S.S. Enterprise receives a top-priority order to protect a shipment of quadrotriticale grain on Deep Space Station K-7, Kirk is irritated to be guarding a shipment of "wheat." But the shipment is meant for famine-struck Sherman's Planet, and Klingons are taking shore leave on the space station. Adding to Kirk's irritation is Federation Undersecretary for Agriculture, Nilz Baris, and his pesty assistant, Arne Darvin, who inform Kirk that Starfleet Command is afraid the Klingons may try to steal the grain.
Another problem arises when a space trader, Cyrano Jones, gives Uhura a purring ball of fluff known as a tribble. Charmed by the creature, Uhura takes it back to the Enterprise. However, as McCoy soon learns, tribbles are born pregnant and the more they eat ... and they eat constantly ... the more they multiply. Soon the starship is overrun by the furry creatures.
Kirk soon finds that the bins that were once full of the precious quadrotriticale are now full of dead tribbles. The grain has been poisoned by a Klingon agent disguised as the Undersecretary's assistant, Darvin. His true identity is exposed when Kirk discovers that tribbles don't like Klingons (and vice-versa) and squeak whenever they're in near proximity. The Klingons leave the space station and Scotty rids the Enterprise of the tribbles by beaming them aboard the departing Klingon ship where, as he tells Kirk, " ... they'll be no tribble at all."

The episode is The Trouble with Tribbles and the little darlings are called Tribbles. A salesguy had come to the Enterprise shop and brought these little furry things. Unfortunately, no one knew that they would multiply so amazingly, so they were soon all over the ship in every nook and cranny. The sound they made was so cute...

Tribbles.. the Title was .. The Trouble With Tribbles.. (grew up on Star Trek lol).. UMM Story line.. Was some sort of a space station and there was to be a heap of grain that was to feed some world... and the grain ended up poisoned. by the THEN arch enemies the KLINGONS.. the Tribbles were brought in by the bar keep\owner? of station and were spread around there and on the Enterprise, giving everyone a sense of contentment who came in contact with them ... EXCEPT the Kinglons.. which the Tribbles didnt like..A Klingon in disguise was found out by a Tribble's reaction..and Kirk in the end.. transfered all his Tribbled to a Klingon vessel afore they parted ways... thats all I can recall.

They were called Tribbles. And Scottie found them in the bins of Quadratrilacalie and eventually beamed them aboard the Klingon ship because Capt. Kirk told him to get rid of them The last line of the episode Capt. Kirk asked what Scottied did with the Tribbles and he told the Capt. he beamed them aboard the Klingon ship where they would be no Tribble at all.

they were tribbles, The episode had these critters taking over the Enterprise. THey were infeective (their cuteness I believe). Something like thay happened.

tribbles, they were brought by blackmarket and the ship had grain to take to another planet, the tribbles ate it and died, the klingons poisoned the grain, the tribbles would go crazy because they did not like the klingons, and the commissioner was a klingon and they arrested him because the tribble freaked when he came around!
