I use only olive oil. Even for baking.

Olive oil is a healthier option. However, if you're using it for fried foods anyway, you might just use a vegetable or canola oil. Wherever possible, try to use olive oil though.

olive oil is better for you than vegetable oil. but if you are wanting to fry using high temperatures, you are better off with the cooking oil. it won't burn like the olive oil.

Some foods (mediterranean, italian, etc.) love the additional flavor from olive oil. Others (eggs, etc.) need the neutral "flavor" of vegetable oil.

It depends on what you are cooking. Some things are better cooked with cooking oil (ie. Fried eggs), other things are better cooked with olive oil.

Extra virgin olive oil, seems to be the choice, according to all the chefs, and it's more healthy.
