Face it... the world loves Sir Paul, and always will. His split with Heather Mills has people all up in arms, because
Paul now belongs to "us." Those of us old enough grew up with him (or behind him, as I did... I was about a year old when the Fabs broke up, but have always been a stalwart fan, and saw Sir Paul from the 5th row in Portland back in December). We've seen Paul through his dedication to Linda (I was shocked when I found out they only spent, what, ten days apart total their entire time of being married, which was over 30 years? I've been married six years, and have spent far more time than that apart from my wife!), saw him lose his friends John and George, and his best friend, Linda. Despite his health and all, he is getting up there in years, and I believe those of us who love him sort of look at him like a national, no, international treasure. Rock on, Sir Paul -we'll still need you and still feed you at 164, if you choose to stay around that long!!!

Well we could possibly take a holiday on the Isle of White if it's not too expensive! W'ell have the Grand kids on our knee love which is good. I like Vera you're mother, Chuck is definitely from your side of the family, but I just can't stand Dave Chuck! In any event I'll still mend your fuse. Oh naughty! Send me a postcard etc or maybe drop me a line. Just remember to indicate precisley what you mean to say, your's sincerely... I'm wasting! Oh, to be doing the garden, or digging some weeds!

When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now.
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine.
If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.
You'll be older too,
And if you say the word,
I could stay with you.
I could be handy, mending a fuse
When your lights have gone.
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride,
Doing the garden, digging the weeds,
Who could ask for more.
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.
Every summer we can rent a cottage,
In the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear
We shall scrimp and save
Grandchildren on your knee
Vera ,Chuck & Dave
Send me a postcard, drop me a line,
Stating point of view
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
Yours sincerely, wasting away
Give me your answer, fill in a form
Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.

Paul McCartney!
He's just turned 64 and I guess he's feeling less loved and needed feeded than at any time in his life thanks to recent occurances within his household!
But, I guess the world still love him!
