Being a fan of sororties myself, I can only say that a respectable sorority depends on what school you attend and the people that attend said school. While sororities (and fraternities) may have groups at various schools, each one may be different in its make up and how the chapter acts. You'll have to do some digging to find out the answer to your question. Ask around campus to various people (students, faculty, etc.) then watch for yourself to see how chapter members conduct themselves.

I am not in one myself, but most are based on service and have high morals. Of course some campuses decide to represent this in a different way, but chapters are different...so you have to observe this yourself of their motives in their various locations.
