for yahoo pool there are free leagues. u play with 'bux' which is fake money

Most pool leagues I'm familiar with charged weekly or monthly dues. The price will vary from league to league, but I think the cost is minimal

most leagues I have joined are free to join, you usually have a weekly fee you pay each time you compeit. The fees pay for the use of the building and the prize money
