OMG, roaches are nasty. Put boric acid anywhere your animals can't reach (behind appliances, etc.); Combat traps & bait; and put wire traps in sinks so they can't come in through throught the pipes. You may need an exterminator to come in every week until your infestation is cleared up.

It depends on how bad your infestation is and whether you live in an apartment or a single residence. I live in a single residence and I had problems with these really large waterbug roaches...huge!!!! I used Bayer Advanced Home Bug spray outside the foundation of my home and inside along the baseboards, behind appliances, under the couches, any little nook and cranny (watch out not to contaminate foods and if you have pets, this may not be the best option). I pretty much haven't seen a roach in about a year. If you live in an apartment or a townhouse and you treat your home, but your neighbors have a bad infestation, well I don't have to tell you what kind of creek you're up. Hope this helps.

I don't know where you live, but Sam's Club sells a four pack for 20$ of thingamigs(sorry, I can't remember what they are actually called) that you plug in different outlets through out your house up to 2,000 sq ft. and they keep roaches plus all other insects, vermin, rats and mice etc even snakes away. I've had them for over two yrs already and not one unwanted creature, except for the occasional lizard that wanders in through the patio door. You can't of course, own pet mice, rats snakes or ferrets or it will kill them, it's better than spending all that money on sprays and powders which usually work only minimally

Have a professional spray. They say that if there was a nuclear war the roaches would live, so they can be quite the problem, better left to someone else. If you live in an apartment have your landlord spray.

Use "Combat" Traps... it may take a while to notice the difference, but they're the best. Sprays will only kills the ones you see.. and for every one that you see, there's about a billion other that you don't, that are hiding in the walls, etc.

You gotta get them drunk then stomp them with rubber slippers. Also buy 3 or four Tokay Gekkos. They will eat twice their weight in gekkos every night.

Don't jeopardize your health (I know someone who did) by handling poisons if there is a bad infestation. Hire an exterminator.
