Unfortunately the extremist factions behind the unrest in the Middle East and Asia aren't interested in a peaceful resolution. They will settle for nothing less than total annihilation of their perceived enemies. One can not sit down and reason with the unreasonable. A peaceful solution is highly unlikely to say the least.

Nothing. Just watch what happens and stay out of the way. Sometimes peace is the worst thing that can happen in the long run. A cease fire will only give all side time to reload, so let them fight it out and may the best man win. Lets get it over with and stop prolonging it.

Absense of war is not real peace.
