Leavenworth - That would be for the Federal Prison at Leavenworth Kansas baseball team, DH maybe?

Just kidding, I think Barry is going to hang them up!

The team that Barry will play for next year is the Oakland A's. The first reason that he will play their next year is that number 1 it is close to San Fransisco, and number 2 he needs to play in the American league, Barry has been going downhill as a fielder for sometime now and if he does play next year he won't have a great season,I'm afraid his glory days are past him, he's just going to break the record and then retire.

If he plays it will most likely be for the new york yankees. He can play as a DH in the American League and Yankee Stadium is a much more Lefy Friendly park than most. George Steinbrenner loves the limelight for his Yankees and all the publicity of Bonds chase for the Home Run record be it good or bad would sell the Yankees organization. Bonds would also be better protected by the lineup that New York Has. Personnally I wish the media would get off his back. An entire generation of athletes in this country has used steroids and other enhancers. Did Bonds use them. . . most likely. . . but he still has to hit the ball. . . . nobody else who used them has hit 722 home runs have they? Most of the time he used them (if he did) they were not even illegal. There are many reasons why you can really compare Bonds to sluggers of other generations. . . steroids only being one of them. Years ago the fences were much farther back. . .. . nobody played in climate controlled domes. . . . training regimines wern't so scientific. . . anyhow. . . . in summation. . .Bonds in NY. . .as a Yankee!

Barry Bonds IS a disgrace to Baseball.

With that fact said, I admit Bonds is going to break Aaron's (Hank's, not me, Aaron) HomeRun record in anaother year or so. and it will be as a member of the............................. .............Boston Red Sox.
You heard it HERE first, ladies and gentlemen, remember that. Bonds will become a free agent after this season, and will be looking for a team in the American League where his defensive Inadequencies won't tell on him. He is a lazy fielder, and that cannot be disputed. But at the plate, he is deadly.
Another answerer on this question claimed that the right-field porch in Yankee stadium would be the best place for Bonds to deposit his balls.
Instead, it's in the comfortable right field bullpen at Fenway, just south of the Pesky -pole.
He will kiss good-bye to the Red Sox the game after he has the HomeRun Title, too, self-absorbed, arrogant drug user that he is.

Let's hope it's the Yankees so I don't have to split up my hatred anymore. There are a few things I hate in baseball, Bonds, the Yankees and the DH rule. It would be so convenient if all three were rolled into one...

To JohnV, he'll NEVER play for the Dodgers...if he's going to stay in the NL, why not stay up where at least the fans adore him. Dodger fans don't care if he's got 955 homers, he'd look like sh*t in blue and white.

I think Bonds talks too much first off all. He will probably not play next year, if he does it will be for the Mariners, Angels, Yankees or the Dodgers. He will not play for the giants.

The Giants. They can offer him a contract filled with incentives. The only other possible choice, from rumors that I've heard, is the Oakland A's. That way he wouldn't have to move and just travel across the Bay.

It needs to be an American League team because his knees can't play another season in the outfield so he will have to DH.

Any team in the AL so that he can be a DH (which means he can hit without having to play in the field).
