yep I'm a girl gamer I have been a gamer most of my life - I took it up when I was 6 playing pacman, space invaders, asteroids and many more on an acorn BBC computer and I have been gaming ever since I'm 23 now and addicted to them. I turn into a total bit_ch if I go more than 48 hours without gaming.

I play games. I must admit I haven't really gotten into the 3D bloody kind of games - sorry I don't do TOO much gore (well just a little is ok)!
I have recently played Lego Starwars through to the end and more! Childish game I know but fun.
My fave prehistoric game is Tetris - wow what a game.
I also like playing the SIM games, especially SIM city.
I intend to play more games now that I have just recently bought my own computer.
I am 23. I think the reason I play games is to escape reality. I also love a really clever game and appreciate good graphics. I sometimes find it difficult to socialise in the way that others do; does that make me a nerd? nope - not that far gone (YET)!

I'm a grrrl gamer, I play because I've been a fan of video games from the time I got my first Game Boy and because, strangely enough, I like the gamer culture (except for Mountain Dew, you can keep that.) I love LAN parties and can spend hours playing a good RPG like Oblivion or FPS like Half-Life 2.

yup i am a girl gamer and have been since i was about 15 currently trying to complete gta san andreas on the very last mission, i also play runescape which takes up a lot my free time. i play because i enjoy it and i find it even more relaxing than reading a good book or taking a bath with aromatherapy oils, candles etc. some of the games i play allow me to vent my anger without actually hurting someone, only thing that gets hurt is my ps2 controller haha!!

I'm a 35 year old mother of 3, and love gaming. All the Zelda games are the ones I especially like. The old Sonic games were pretty good also!

yeah I'm a girl gamer. I play on xbox 360, love playing combat games like call of duty, battle field etc, also like platform games like tomb raider. I'll have ago at anything though. Like to complete the games too I'm quite competitive, my husband gets stuck on a part, passes it to me the I get hooked!
I like playing because I get bored of watching telly and I like playing on line cos you get to speak to people all over the world.

i play because im in between a tomboy and girly_girl wen i play halo madden and the grand theft auto games i kick *** and im unstoppable by my bros and cousins.all my cousins r boys so i didnt grow up with like all the makeup ad dresss sometimes im a girly-girl but just wen im not playing video games.the only online game i play is runescape and i love it!

I love video games! I play them because they are fun and pass time. They aren't just for boys ya' know! Its fun when I beat my brother and all of his games.

i am a gamer!!! i am addicted to guild wars factions and would recommend it to everyone. its an on-line role playing game, you buy the disks (play.com is the cheapest at £17.99) then don't have to pay anymore on subscription etc!
