I need some advice. Hubby has lost all interest in intimacy.
Forgive me for being blunt but he has no problem "rising to attention" The issue is that whenever I mention his lack of interest he shuts me out and refuses to talk to me about it. He tells me I'm beautiful, etc but its been almost four months since any kind of "playtime" I can handle the lack of sex (maybe) but its the fact that he won't talk about it that bothers me the most. I'm not trying to push, I just want him to tell me what it going on. Thanks for your advice.

It might perhaps that he's lately stressed by work or any issues with family or etc. Try to ask him if everything is alright, if something's bothering him? One day, tell him we really need to talk! And if he tries avoiding it, you sit him down and tie him up in the chair if you have to and tell him what you're feeling, if the problem persists, it's probably because he's cheating. Maybe dont mention his lack of interest.. Some people cannot handle criticism at all. Maybe he sees you as a nag about the subject. Maybe he has some issues going on at work that you are not aware of.. maybe he has something on his mind... maybe he has found someone else. Lots of maybes here. I would suggest some of the following. Dont act bothered by his lack of interest (although its tearing you up inside). do something totally out of character.. like something seductive that normally you wouldnt do... or start going out to dinner or a movie with a girlfriend.. spend some time away from him.. give him time to think of what he is missing out on. Good Luck

Maybe he is going thru some problems at work or depression. Is he taking any medicine right now maybe it's side affect is lack of interest in sex. Just because he is not all over you doesnt mean he is having an affair like others have mentioned. give him time let him talk to you about it!

He may be under stress from work. There are many reasons that can cause lack of interest in sex. He could be seeing some one behind your back. He could be suffering from ED. You need to know the problem before you can attempt to solve it. He has to open up and talk. If it is something that you can solve yourself, do it. If otherwise you will have to seek professional help.

Problem sounds emotional. Is he under more stress than usual? Has something happened at work to make him feel "less of a man?" Suggestion: let him know that he is more desirable to you now than in the past. Let him know that growing together has made him very special to you. Don't nag, don't be accusing, don't remind him of your needs. Look only to him for what he needs from you. Something has him feeling depressed. Find out.

maybe you are putting too much pressure on him to perform? and this makes his shut down MORE as time goes on. Really, try marriage counseling, maybe it has nothing to do with sex at all, but counseling will get to the heart of the matter

well try to spice it up somehow. do something different. If he still don't want to I would wonder if he's cheating and if he's not he needs some kind of counseling. If he can rise to the occasion but won't something is not right.

It's a problem for alot of men. Get him to go get a physical and while he's there, talk to his doctor about it. Fortunately for men, there are medications like Viagra and Levitra that can make his problem go away and get him his confidence back.
Good Luck and God Bless
