I work at PetSmart and we have a variety of leopard geckos. The juvies cost about $29.99 and the adults anywhere from $89.99 to $130.00.
When you get your gecko, you will need a 20 gallon long tank, a uv light and a heat lamp. Juvies need to be on cage carpet and the adults can be on carpet or sand. NO HEAT ROCK!!! geckos love them but they can burn themselves on them.
PetSmart has kits for around $89.99 that include all but the bedding and the uv light. Most uv lights are around $31.99 with the fixture.
If you need anymore help let me know. civicgirl98@hotmail.com

Also if your looking online to purchase a gecko try sandfiredragonranch.com or

Good Luck!

My boyfriend bought one for his sister in an exotic pet store. It was a hypomelanistic gecko which have much brighter pigmentation. It cost 200 euro for the gecko, tank, heat pad, sand, box of crickets, water dish and gecko book. If your pet store doesn't stock them they should be able to order one in, I don't know how much extra that would cost.

Almost any pet store now.

Years ago you could only find them in exotic pet stores, but now they sell them at Petco and PetSmart (and other chain pet stores)

Check your local yellow pages (on line or paper book) and call the stores to see if they have them.

The babies usually sell for about $25 or so. Juvenilles cost more, and adults costs more than the juvenilles.

Keep in mind the cost of the accessories you'll have to buy - tank, heat rock, light, a place to hide (rock or tank decoration), etc.

FYI - they make great pets. They are not agressive, are clean, like to stay in their tank, (if they do get out, becareful, they like to hide) and are easy to feed. I had one for years and was so sad when he died.
