I'll be the first to answer this. I miss those little Bazooka gums that cost like 5 cents, (but if you chewed them too long it is like a rubber band) those classic reeboks, there were potato chips for 25 cents per bag. A gallon of millk cost about 1.89. Oh and Doritos were 35 cents a bag, then went to like 59 cents, now they are 99 cents! Loaf of bread was like 69 cents. Remember that ice cream that was like hagen dazs, called fruzen graja (or something like that) C'mon somebody reminisce w/ me? Let's remember the old days??

All my favorite music and 75 cent cigarettes.

Those were the days. We all ate regular white bread and individually wrapped cheese slices and thought we were living healthy (we never heard of organic in those days). You could hang outside with your friends without being roasted alive. And all that hairspray! No computers but plenty of Fantasy Island and Love Boat - and now Gopher a statesman for some time, even. Remember the tan through bathing suit?

They still showed Bugs Bunny on regular tv, the beginnimg of MTV (when they really were all music all the time) and the old GI Joe cartoons were great (full of romance, action, and insane cobra commander actually carefully crafted instead of the cartoons you see today).

Good times! Good times!

Peace!

Without a doubt the music! There were so many different sounds and types to choose from. The songs also had much deeper lyrics than today. Now a days its all the same. . . . some thug rapping about getting drunk, getting high, and screwing a hoochie mama! 50 cent and Little John are pathetic. The music industry has been taken over by gang banging thugs and drug dealers. Complete degenerates and scumbuckets. Hopefully things will change soon and these roaches like 50 cent and Eminem will crawl back into the sewers from which they came. . . or end up in prison where they belong. I also miss mtv and vh1 when they actually played videos. Today every video is the same. . . some gangster thugs waving their arms around like gorillas and acting tough while some hoochie mamma sticky her fat skanky butt out. Have you ever noticed nobody ever had a job in a rap video?

I miss the music diversity. That era, spawned alot of 1 hit wonders, mega music stars, and future classics. Madonna, Prince, Janet Jackson, Annie Lennox are still around making music and still doing tours.

I miss the astronauts on the space shuttle Challenger. Genuine heros.

I miss Disneylands, tickets for the rides, A,B,C,D,E. Lion country safari. You could drive your car on a tour and the animals were looking on the other side of the window at you.

Thanks for the question!

All the live music clubs you could go to. Almost everywhere had a band playing...or maybe you weren't old enough for that yet? :)
