Why can't people just be themselves?

I can answer this. People are always trying to impress those they dont know and those that they dont like. The "FAKE" part of the person is a part of who they are as well. Ppl find it hard to be themselves b/c of the pleasing of other people and "trying" to live up to others expectations.
