I recently started working under a new contract for a company i have been with for quite some time. I was asked by my Supervisor if this African guy would be okay to work at the job site also, "this job pays well" I told him this guy would be okay because i know him and we were both looking for something that paid more money, He almost got fired the first month for hanging up on the Supervisor, I managed to prevent him from being fired. I asked this co- worker and another co-worker to switch shifts with me today it is only a six hour shift and i even offered to work a extra five hours for them just so i can make it to my oldest nieces wedding. They both said no and i also got stuck doing a month and ahalf worth of work cause they are slow. What do you think. Cruddy or what?

Use the time to make yourself look good. If you're taking up the slack you already look good. Play your cards right and it may mean more money for you down the line. Don't whine about the others. Handle yourself well and you'll come out ahead.

Super-Cruddy...Next time, don't be so nice to them...Sorry, if that comes off as mean, but the world sucks so If they won't be nice to you, why be nice to them.

Your choice. you could have just left and did what you needed to do. If they are so inefficient they would have been fired and you would have got a pay raise
