I would say that the statement that "time is curved" should be more accurately read time is not linear. Classically time is viewed as linear going from one event to another in a constant direction. The special theory of relativity basically sets up the idea that time does not function this way. We know that space and time are inter-related and that space is very likely curved. This could lead us to the conclusion that time itself might also be curved.
Something being curved does not imply that it will repeat or come back to its starting postition. A good example in the classical realm is the orbit of the nearest planet to the sun, Mercury. This orbit is clearly curved but not closed, the planet does not go in a normal ellipse like other orbits. So, things may be curved but not closed.

I think Einstein said in string theory that time is actually like a long winding road.

The arrows denote the direction of time's movement. That's a very rough example of what I mean by how time goes. This type of idea supports the use of back holes in going back in time to the point of the black holes creation. But that's a completely different topic.
If time was curved, then yes I'm sure everything would repeat.

May repeat on itself if it eats radishes but then again time always repeats on itself cause yesterday I had lunch at 1pm and guess what?, it was 1pm when I had lunch today. Think I will have lunch at a different time tomorrow I am getting fed up with repeats. (getting like watching T.V.)

In fact the TIME does not really exist, it is only the MOVEMENT in quality and quantities.
For a better understanding here is an example:
Imagine everything in the universe stops at its situation in quantity and quality, every existence like an statue. No movements of any planets or galaxies, no changes of seasons, and silence everywhere. Now you think does time have any meaning in this situation?
Time is created by our imagination.

Time is definitely curved and keeps repeating itself. I learned this from watching the hands on my watch. Eerie how they keep doing the same thing over and over and over...

Does not the prevalent current belief that the universe is open negate the curvature of time concept i.e. omega < 1? I can never quite get my head round the saddle comparison of an open universe. They do say ignorance is bliss!

i would say on a generation sense that yes it will repeat: hence the term history repeats itself!!
on a parapsychological sense, stone tape theories suggest that things are replayed, from an environment or from a previous era so definite YES

Maybe, but what for? Surely there are many places for time to explore, why would it choose the unfulfilling course of exact past repetition- too many variables for it to do that. If it spirals, then who can tell...it may move in many ways we can't understand. If you think in 3 dimensions, your answer to your question is improbable.

Apparently scientists now believe that there are some parts of the universe where time runs backwards.

Which suggests some very disturbing scenarios.
