Who else supports gay rights?

I don't see why they should be treated any differently.

BTW, I'm heterosexual. I just think it's stupid how gay people are treated like dirt in same cases.

In the animal kingdom, 10% of the animal population is gay. I learned that in a University biology class. So there is nothing "unnatural" about it.

I don't support "special rights" for gays. Heavens no. I support the SAME rights for gays.

I apologize if the use of the word "they" is offensive. 'Twas not my intention.

I do! They should have the same rights as everyone else! They don't want special rights they just want equal rights!

I don't see why you say "they"? (OK, I'm scuttling off my soap box. Sorry but that sounded a bit condescending that's all)

What goes on between two consenting adults is their business. I believe that we should be tolerant of other people's life choices and learn to love people for who they are rather than by the lables that society places on them.

I believe that if two human beings love each other, they should be allowed to marry and enjoy they same privileges as everyone else. I have seen more love, understanding and respect in some gay relationships than in many "straight" ones.

For all those people that are going to yell that I am an atheist and anti-christian, I will precise that I have a very strong faith. I also believe that if we judge others, we are putting ourselves in the place of God. It is not our place to judge. To top it all off, Dante defines God as "divine light full of love". How could God judge negatively two people that love each other just because they are of the same gender.

I don't understand why gays need special rights. All that should matter is that we are all created by the same God and live in this wonderful country.

I agree. We are all one. Separation is an illusion of humanity and this temporal physical existance. How one lives his or her life is part of the free will given to us by God. God loves us all unconditionally, regardless.

I agree with you. I don't get why it's such a big deal and why we can't just treat people the same.

100% agreed. you dont have to be gay to support them. homosexuals are a minority like any other one and they deserve support just like everyone else.
