The first thing you should do is purchase a real Harley Davidson shop manual. Get the service one and it will show you step by step all the procedures,how it's set up and how to reassemble the unit. It's a must to have the manufacturers manuals because they always have all the correct info. so you really can't go wrong if you take your time and follow the order of dis-assembly and reassembly. Their isnt enough room in this forum for me to rell you step by step,get yourself a FACTORY shop manual and the proper tools.

If you need to ask here its beyond your capabilities. As long as chain lines up there isn't a lot that you can do wrong
