Why is it moist in the one area? You should quit peeing there. "Kilz" is a paint type coating that will stop the growth of mold. Only if you keep the area dry will you get rid of the mold and mildew.

Well since you can't prevent the moisture, you have to clean often (once a wk) with hot soapy bleach water. Just wipe everything down and you can pour the rest of the solution straight onto the floors if it's concrete and that will eliminate most of the mold/mildew!!

Kill it all with bleach, then use a dehumidifier. Best to find out the cause of the water though to prevent recurrence of mold and water damage!

You need to spray down the walls with bleach and water, and get some ventilation in there. You should never have any mold in your house, it can cause bad sinus infections.

Personally I would take Helpful Kim's advice. A dehumidifyer is important in a basement that has moisture.
