"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco" Mark Twain

San Francisco has been in the 90s all week (almost unheard of in July two decades ago), breaking records that were set just the last few years. And the suburban areas are a scorching 100-110. Humidity is rising despite the fact that California is supposed to get dry heat.

This comes on the heels of a rainy season to remember, with downpours everyday in winter. More than the Pacific Northwest! Something's definitely changing with the normally mild weather pattern in SF.

And yet the government insists we're not experiencing a climate change. Uh huh. Don't know what to tell the geniuses in Washington, but San Francisco shouldn't be getting Florida weather!

What's next, a Typhoon coming in from the Pacific?

BlackberryCobbler thinks it's always hot in San Francisco?

lololololololololol!

It's not always so hot in SF - the entire U.S. has pretty much been engulfed in a heat wave for the past several days. San Francisco is usually cooler - even more so than its neighbors across the bay (the farther out in the East Bay you go, the hotter it seems to get).

Of course, San Francisco has a few hot days each summer, but it's hardly typical.

Incidentally - there is no evidence Mark Twain ever said "The coldest Winter I ever spent was a Summer in San Francisco"

It is hot - it hit 92, though my apartment is on a hill so I'm getting a good breeze through it at the moment.
