Pinecone surveys pays $5 per survey. But you can't just sign up. You can apply, but I think it's hard to get accepted. I've been with them for years and I get $10 to $20 per month.

Also, Homescan gives you points you use toward prizes. Then, after a few years, you can get into their media rating program which pays up to $13 a month, plus chances for sweepstakes wins.

Most of them, though, tell you that you are entered into a sweepstakes that only the company's relatives ever win.

I just thought of 2 more -- Lightspeed where you earn points and then can cash them out. And Harris Poll does the same thing.

If you decide to venture into this be sure and set up a seperate e-mail account just for this.

Otherwise you will get 20-30 e-mails daily from all sorts of people.

I tried it for a while but never got a cent from any of them and finally had to get rid of my e-mail account because the spam took over. Even when I would " opt out " of being on their e-mail list they still kept coming.

At best you will make 10-20 per month. In my opinion my time is worth more than $20 per month

If you do not check a company before entering into a transaction, you could lose your money, time and credibility. Some widely used resources are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center (www.fraud.org) these days, you can easily find out more about a company using the internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers.
