the server is currently down at the time. you can google it by going to google.com and type in 'problem yahoo messenger' it will tell you that the server is currently not working. if you want to check your messages go to yahoo.com and sign in. other than that all i can give you is to wait it out and sign in later. this problem has happened before. but if you are looking for some entertainment go to funnyjunk.com which gives you hours of laughs or castleofspirits.com which is mostly hoax ghostly photos but still fun to look at. have fun! :) no time on how long it will take to fix. maybe hours or at most a day. yahoo is off all over the world sorry to say.

You have a backup like MSN messenger, or go out for awhile & let the computer cool down. Because Yahoo is free they owe nothing to thier users & can be down when & for as long as they wish, so you just have to deal with it.
