Been having trouble w/Messenger since yesterday. Haven't been able to send or receive messages since last night!

the server is currently down at the time. you can google it by going to google.com and type in 'problem yahoo messenger' it will tell you that the server is currently not working. if you want to check your messages go to yahoo.com and sign in. other than that all i can give you is to wait it out and sign in later. this problem has happened before. but if you are looking for some entertainment go to funnyjunk.com which gives you hours of laughs or castleofspirits.com which is mostly hoax ghostly photos but still fun to look at. have fun! :) no time on how long it will take to fix. maybe hours or at most a day. yahoo is off all over the world sorry to say.

everyone is facing that problem,
everything is wrong about yahoo! messenger right now, no ones messenger is working, so don't bang your head on your computer screen in frustration! :)

I've been trying to get on Yahoo messenger off and on since i got up this morning (8a), It's 7p now and it still won't work.
And in reference to one of the answers above...*I didn't know you could call Yahoo*...that's a new one on me.

I am glad that you asked this question, I have already uninstalled and then reinstalled it two times now thinking it was my computer again.. Yahoo.is as bad as AOL...

YAHOO'S SERVERS ARE DOWN! A PHONE CALL TO THEM GETS YOU NOWHERE. I'VE TRIED. IT'S TOO BAD THEY DON'T EXTEND A COURTESY ON THEIR MAIN PAGE THAT PART OF THEIR SERVICES ARE UPDATING OR THAT THE SERVERS ARE DOWN. DON'T FLOOD YAHOO WITH EMAILS AS TO WHY. I JUST SPOKE TO A FRIEND OF MINE WHO WORKS THERE BY CELL PHONE & THEY ARE WORKING ON IT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
