Americans are probably more informed about the Middle East than many of the people who live there.
Those who live in any of the countries there get their governments side of the story. Muslims get one story- - - and they all believe it. Jews see it in a different way, and they believe what they're taught to believe.
Over here in America we get news from both sides. Many side with Israel because of the size of the country compaired to the size of all the Muslim countries surrounding them.
Take a look at a map of the area. The Muslim lands are a thousand times the size of Israel.
Now, about the history of the area. The Muslims would have us believe that the Jews came in and took land from the Muslims. Okay, that land has been changing hands for thousands of years.
Pick any time in the history of the Mid-East. You can say that any spot you select belonged to one or another of a couple of dozen different nations.
Also, Muslims try to make others believe that all the land belonged to them since the beginning of time. The Jews are a very ancient people. Now be honest, of all the land that the ancient Jews once owned, what area do you believe is theirs ?
If you were told to select the area that you believe was the original home of the Jews, and rightly belongs to them, which areas would you select. I presume you are an intelligent honest person. Where is the true home of the Jews?

I wish there was a way to take the whole country of Isreal and move it somewhere far away from the middle east, so that we would see all those who remain go to war with each other as they have been doing for thousands of years.
Currently Isreal is just their common enemy. Take away Isreal, and they would be at war with each other.

Why are only Middle Easterners ignorant about America?
Now, doesn't that sound ridiculous? Of course it does. Not all Americans are ignorant. Some just don't see how worrying about someone or something so far away does any good.

Yep -- we are the only ignorant ones. We are just laying around wallowing in our own Middle East ignorance. Everyone in America thinks the exact same way, you know. It's because the media tells us exactly how to think, and there is only one source -- Ignorant TV.
