This has been an entire day of considerable snaffu's in the Yahoo Mail area--- this web site has actually "lit up" over the final 5 to 6 hour with posts into the loads over this element !! Rumor (Yahoo nevertheless hasn't made an good assertion so a techniques as i be responsive to) is this is a server situation and in all risk having to do with the " time exchange differential " in some way !! there have been assorted posts from people who say that Yahoo is coming lower back slowly and that THEIR service has lower back in the final little whilst weird and wonderful element is--- I definitely have not lost service in any respect ---all day--- and my mail is working like a stitching gadget on the instant !! You don`t say if you are running off a modem or a router (try a re-boot).
Check all your connections to and from the PC and your filters if you are using any are properly connected.
Also, if you are using BTYAHOO, check that they are not doing work at the exchange in your area, same goes if you are on Yahoo.
Are you using the new Yahoo Mail Beta? or are you still on the original Yahoo mail?
Everything is working just fine here, including messenger.

yeah, you can't get into your yahoo messenger mail because when you try to get in to yahoo messenger mail it doesnt let you access the server from your computer even though you have internet connection the connection doesnt connect to the yahoo server because the yahoo messenger server is having difficulty managing all the users from the user interface face butt

Well boo, Yahoo messanger is down for everyone. I uninstalled mine a couple of times, and rebooted my computer, and still got nothing....so I decided to get on Yahoo Answers, and found out that its not just mine! I believe it is the Yahoo Server......Sorry....I need mine too, GOOD LUCK!

I'm having the same problem, I log in as normal and it says cannot find server so I can't read my emails or even access ,my email account.

yes, the same thing happened to me last week, couldn't even get on any websites, then it took ages to load a page, which timed out all the time.
Ntl and Telewest are doing major work on their servers i believe.

I suspect that those people who can use Mail are not in the USA.
I am in UK and Mail works, but IM is down like it is world wide.

How do you access? If you use NTL/Telewest,they are continually upgrading their systems.A pain i know but i suppose it has to be done.Had the same problem last week.All depends which area you live in.

i can get into my yahoo mail, its working ok
messenger isnt
