everyones suggestions are awesome, but u can also rent old 80s movies & get ideas. i plan on dressing up 80s style for halloween myself, my husband is gonna do the Flock of Seagulls look, i'm still undecided. Good luck & u can never go wrong with Rick Springfield, Cure, Police, or Wham!!

Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, play a lot of hair bands..where is this party..I was a long haired head banger back then, I guess you can play some Culture Club, Wham and some of that stuff..or just buy Sirius radio they have an 80s channel

If nothing else, you have to play the Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture Show. Really, anything from that movie fits the bill. Sweet Transvestite is a good choice, also.

I loved the theme to the Lost Boys. Plus I loved that movie & Fright Night. Remember that one but that's about all of my 80's creativity.
