Short of a shot to the head, I'd be shocked if it resulted in anything beyond a bruise.
If the pain is sharper than a typical bruise, you might want to check it out - but if it looks like a bruise and feels like a bruise, odds are pretty good it is just a bruise.

the only way it oculd be hazardous to your health is if it hit you in the head, then you might get a concussion but im sure your fine.
