We all have off days. Perhaps you should ask yourself the questions of 'are you really the best player?' and 'do you play to win or just to get that good feeling of doing something skillful?'

Remember: Every game is practice for the next one. I understand how you feel (as a center mid who has played his share of bad games), but you cant afford to think about it if you want to improve. Dont neccesarily forget it, parts of the match may be helpful to remember; but dont brood about it. I know that can be hard to do, because if only you made the right play there, it would of been 3-3, or if only you had hustled back on that one play they wouldnt of scored, etc, but thats how it goes. If anything, use it to make you more determined for your next few practices/games. And also, it sounds like the heat could have been a big factor. Maybe do a little extra running to get in better shape and just make sure you are hydrated. Anyway, everyone has bad days. Some even have bad weeks, or months. All we can do about it is work. A great sportsman once said, "There is never an excuse for anyone to work harder than me." Anyway, take a shower, have a beer if you can, relax, and go out hard the next day.

Listen...I have always been the best growing up playing soccer and I play center mid. There's no worst feeling than having a bad day at soccer but look at it this way...Ronaldinho had a bad World Cup yet he's the best player in the world. Everyone has bad days. Sometimes when you try too hard you actually play worse. So I'd say have fun, concentrate hard, and stay aggresive and you'll be fine.

Sometimes I play as a goalkeeper. When my friends score on me, I just calm down and get rid of the bad moments. Don't feel discouraged. What position do you play? If you are a forward then you have to be consistent with your passes and your goal-scoring opportunities. Let the greatest moments begin. It's just a game, in fact, discouragement happens to anybody. For example, when Mexico lost to USA at Estadio Azteca, Mexico felt discouraged that they lost in their own home soil. You see? Just play with a lot more skill; don't be down, things will be okay soon. All you need to do to be the best player is to practice, practice, and practice more to improve. Let all the good moments as a player come to you. Don't let the bad things penetrate your mind and skill. Take some time to think about the best way to connect with your teammates on passing the soccer ball. Have more motivation at practice and at the game. Get a good night's rest before practice to help you become the best player you can ever be! :)

The truth is . . . every soccer game is a bad game. Soccer is only slightly more exciting than watching the grass grow or watching English people have sex! Soccer is a collection of dweebs who are not talented enough to play real sports banding together to pass the time. On rare occasions some soccer players exhibit enough talent to take a stab at more difficult sports like badmitton, lawn darts, or tiddly winks!

Make sure you stretch out a lot before the game, do a few practice drills, make sure the rest of your teammates are fit for the game as you, don't forget to eat a good breakfast filled with lots of grains, and do drink plenty of cold fluids, like gatorade, before,(especially) during, and after the game.

you're not perfect...no one is. so try and learn from your mistakes and move on from it. there will be other lost games, so you can't get hung up on them. think about the pro-athletes that lose a game in front of a thousands of fans, friends, and family on national TV. they can't let themselves fixate on it but have to focus on the next game. don't be so hard on yourself!!!

You feel bad, how do you think David Treseguet feels about missing that pk at the World Cup Finals. In both cases I think you let it go, and try your best the next time around.
