I have a Dell Inspiron 9200 that I got a year ago as a replacement for a Inspiron 5100 that was damaged by my sibling and recently tried to instal XP Media Center on it and erased my recovery disk. Come to find out the Media Center disk I made a copy of from my friend was missing files and/or currupt. How can I get another Systematic Recovery Disk?

while yo cant get a recovery disk again, what you can do is approach technical support and ask them for a media recovery kit. this would include an OS and also all the necessary drivers. this should work if you are in warranty. if your warranty has expired they'll direct you to sales. thats toll-free too and so either way you can weigh in your options. all the very best.

Don't try illegal stuff or piracy. Not good, not good.

You can purchase a Recovery Disk from Dell. It may cost you 10 dollars.

supposedly all the files for your paticular recovery disc are already on your computer in the cabinet files. so you can make your own recovery disc and burn it, but im not sure if this is true or how you do it, since i lost mine and i was wondering the same thing, different computer though.

Call DELL. They may ship you one free, tell you where to download the image, send you one free plus shipping, or at the very least they should be able to sell you one (phone 310-DELL)
