I think thats just aweful... How could someone remarry after only 2 months.. I am truly sorry for you loss please talk to your father let him know this is gonna effect your life also.. Good Luck

I can understand how you feel. How could you dad remarry only 2 months after your mum is gone? Maybe your dad was cheating on your mum or your mum had wanted your dad to remarry after she is gone.
I know of a couple who had all these planned out before the wife lost her battle to breast cancer. She had breast cancer and had only 6 months to live. She arranged and sort of select a suitable woman for her husband after she was gone. Initially her husband was against the whole idea. The wife insisted and told her husband that it was her last wish. She wanted to ensure that her husband will be well looked after when she is no more around.
It was so touching and really demonstrated the true love and care that the poor woman had for her man. God bless her.

You haven't said how old you are, so I wonder if you have to live with this new woman. Have you had the chance to meet her? However, your dad is probably really lonely, and this lady is taking his mind off of losing your mom. You certainly have every right to be worried, but I don't know if there is much you can do. Hopefully, she'll be a super person. Give her a chance and see what happens. Support your dad even though it is gonna be hard.

Similar situation, only my aunt died and uncle remarried right away. Theirs was a perfect marriage, and my uncle was not the type of man to live on his own. He found someone quickly and married her. Worst thing he ever did. They were married for close to 20 years, and lived in separate houses 75% of the time. He married in haste and repented for ever.

what exactly are you worried about? and how old are you?
theres not much advice i can give you if you dont tell me what you are worried about...i went threw the same thing. My dad pasted away march 2nd, 2004 from cancer and mom my had a boyfriend that was saying here, then about 2 months later she told me they were gettin married, in october 2004 they were married. email me at taytayjomar@yahoo.com...i know what your going threw.

it not fun to watch ur dad dating after sometime like that happened so little time ago. if u dont feel comfortable about this maybe talk to ur dad maybe ask him to hold off the wedding for a little while so u can get comfortable with this new woman. if he is a good father he should understand.

give ur new step mother a chance and if u dun like her tell ur father and if u do also go tell ur father so tht he knos u r happy bcuz he might b thinkin tht a mother is wt u need....keep in ur head tht she is a woman wit a different life style than urs and there will b some differences between u at first but if u feel like its a dead end, talk to ur dad

If you like you dad give him full FREEDOM. May be he has truth in his heart why he wanted to do that. You can also start new thing like learning or playing Piano. Your mam will not come back again and please don't suffer by her memory. I UNDERSTAND HOW YOUR MAM IS WONDER FULL. Help your dad and your new step mother and learn the other sides of life.

cinderella isnt real, so u should b fine!!! but my new stepmom was addicted to weed and we didnt find out till 8 mos after the wedding. even then, im sure if shes awful ur dad will do wats right for both him AND u
