not really. The special effects were good. That was pretty much it.

Tom Cruise annoys me to death,BUT he is a good actor and the special effects were great and Dakota Fanning did a great job like always.

The special effects were good.
The drama of a father not letting go of his kids and eventually had to let go of his son, in order to keep his daughter, only to find out that his son is old enough to find his way home, has given a story to the movie.
Other than that, it has not made me jump on my seat or impressed with the movie.
Heck, what else can I say??? It's Tom Cruise! :))

If was okay a sci-fi remake. Tom Cruise played himself, a jerk. Dakota Fanning was good.

it is good, but Tom Cruise's acting is stink-o, plus the little girl screams too much, but other then that it is definitely worth watching

I liked it, we had just studied the book in my english class and the movie is nothing like the book. It was definitely made for entertainment

ive not seen it
but i was told it was quite boring
it not as good as orriginal lp
record war of the worlds
sit in the dark and listen to the album
its quite scary
it scared me
but there again
spooky things do lol

I was not a huge fan. check out www.imdb.com they rate just about any movie out there, and they are pretty fair with their reviews. They also have reviews from a bunch of people that have seen the movies.

It moves pretty slow. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but certainly not one of the better ones.

Don't make a mistake watching it. Steven Spielberg disaster.
