I can't even walk out of my apartment without my neighbor opening her door to watch my children and I go down the stairs. I think she might be lonely but she is really annoying and makes fun of her kid infront of everyone. She is just really bothering me, she is always there! Help, what should I do, any suggestions? I am willing to do about anything, except murder of course. I have been dealing with this for 8 months.

Do something bizarre. When she watches you next time start screaming uncontrollably ... then act like nothing happened. Deny it if she asks why you were screaming. Or wear a huge pink wig one time, changing to a bright green hat and huge cartoon sunglasses ... carry a portable boom box and crank on the music whenever she answers the door.
Yeah, she is lonely and isn't really aware of what she is doing. This might shock her system a bit. If not, knock on her door and ask to borrow a roll of toilet paper ... then offer to return it. I'm just making up random stuff but you get the idea.

Put on a "show" for her. Dance down the sidewalk or something When you get to the end, turn around and take a little bow and smile. Do something silly whenever you go out just for her. Wearing balloon hats comes to mind. Be creative and have fun with it. It may not stop her, but at least she will know you see her, and it may make her realize how silly she is being.

You need to tell her to stop it. Tell her that she's annoying and even though she may not mean to be annoying, she comes off that way. Tell her she's damaging her child for life with the constant insults and she's going to seriously regret it one day when he explodes on her. Tell her she's scaring your children and you will call the police on her if she keeps doing it.

Well, I think that you need to go up to her and tell her to shut the hell up... yes I know that might be a little bit blunt but at least she will get the point and either shut up or get out.

Tis a nosey neighbor yes, but on the other hand, she's looking out for you and your children...............consider her a watch dog. Thank her for always being there, watching every move you make and maybe she'll stop woof! woof!
