At the end of xmen three why didnt wolverine try to use the mutant "cure" on jean instead of killing her?
could have been worth a try replies featuring that was in the scripts will be laughed at

Because Jean is a level 5 mutant. I don't think it would have worked. Look how much they stuck in Magneto and he still showed signs of power at the end of the movie and he was only a level 3 mutant I think. Plus, Jean will always have an evil side that cannot be contained once it's out. They couldn't risk that coming out again.

Because she kept sending those waves out that disintegrated everything. The only reason he survived is because he kept regenerating.
