Untill yesterday I was using the Yahoo mail portal. Now I am able to access it .The computer reads that "Page cannot be opened" . I am little surprised as many of my mails will go unread if I am unable to open.

well seeing how every other question right now is someone asking about why messenger/mail wont work, I think its not working.

In my opinion if you expect Yahoo to answer anything directly, it will not happen. Their customer service stinks. I never requested Yahoo Answers and have been trying for months to get this deleted from my computer to no avail. No emails to Yahoo ever answer me on how to delete this annoying and interrupting pop up. So as far as accessing your email...good luck. There must be something wrong with Yahoo's email today as I am not able to access my email either and it is essential to my business that I get in there asap. Very frustrating indeed.

yahoo messenge is experinecing problems rite now.....the messenger has been shut down here to in NY....im waiting patiently for it to be fixed
