Open Firefox, click Tools>Options>General. The option to set it as your default will be there.

Go to Tools in Firefox, Click Options, and then check in section under General tab: Default Browser.

when you first installed firefox you should have been prompted if not you can open your browser at the top of the screen you should see the tool bar where it says tools click go to options at the bottom on the general tab theres a box to make firefox your default browser

click on the "general" tab
check the box under "default browser"
click on button "check now"
