try looking in office supply stores or even in craft stores (more specifically scrapbooking section) Scrapbooking caters to things to preserve the paper and pictures over time or even photography store. ooooh better yet, look up online: Light Impressions. I get their magazines and they do a lot of preserving, storing, archiving stuff to protect papers, pictures,etc over time as well.

Try to put your safe where there is less mildew growth? OR get a dehumidiifier and set it next to your safe. They have ones that do not need electricity to run them. Maybe put a packet of rice or crumpled peices of newspapers in your safe, they absorb moisture....

wow, I have never heard of that before. Are you keeping your safe in the basement or attic? Or possibly where there is a lot of moisture? Do you have anything else in your safe besides papers?

Seal everything in ziplock bags, You may wanna line the safe in something absorbant that pulls the moisture away.

when you buy new shoes or sneakers,there is a little PAC of moisture removal gel (a small bag or PAC ) in the box,save it and put it in your safe,use 2, 3 ,or more

get moisture removing chemicals. they use them in some pill bottles but you can get bigger ones.
