Try restaurant.com. You can purchase $25 dining certificates for $10 for restaurants in your area. They also have $10 certificates for $3. This site is recommended by Stephanie Nelson aka The Coupon Mom. Check out her website. There is a code on the website that you can use for additional discounts from restaurant.com as well as other dining-related discounts/offers.

I know it is the wrong time of year right now for schools, but they usually have some great coupon books and discount cards for sale as fundraisers...keep you eye out. I have also seen quite a few ads in the Bee for discount books. I remember seeing one before I moved to New York a year and 1/2 ago . Try looking in Sacramento Magazine too.
