Commitment sums it up...To God and your partner. That means our relationship is not in question when our romance, finances, or physiques are lacking. Love is a way you chose to treat someone, not how you feel. If you continue to treat one another with love and putting the other's wishes before your own, you will find hapiness. This of course only works when both people are committed. However, I have seen instances where one person's renewed efforts towards commitment, have created new romance, and the other person becomes committed again as well.

My husband and I have a happy marriage because we are best friends and we have Faith, trust, honesty and love and a marriage based on God and Christianity:)

A great friendship. The thing i hate most is that so often the men start treating the women like they are the enemy, like they are someone they need to hide things from, it doesn't start out like that in the beginning you talk for hours about everything and then something happens and all of the sudden you are being kept in the dark about everyday things.

Open communication, love, respect, happiness. If someone loves you, but never HEARS you, then there's no communication. Always listen to your partner with an open heart and an open mind.
