my grandmother used to tell me to put 2 caps of vinegar in a glass of water and drink it after i eat. I don't know why. But that is the weirdest one i have heard.

I'd suggest walk alot... don't bike or anything... oh, eat spinach. My cousin recommended that. And he said sucking coleslaw juice helps too...
