Typically, semen does not discharge from the penis during the day when you have not been sexually aroused. As some have said, it's possible that it's not semen, and actually discharge from an infection.
If this happens during the night, well, that's pretty normal. People get aroused in their dreams.
If not, you should see a doctor to make sure you don't have an infection.
It isn't smegma.

You have WeeNieYiTuss . This is a strange disease that affects the wienie after eating too many mashed potatoes or other starches . It is highly recommended that you consider low potency vitamins and eating beef. That will increase your stamina and you won't be such a wienie !

It shouldn't, if you are having leaking at any time other than while arroused, then you really need to go to the hospital and be checked for chlamydia. Seriously, I'm going to give you a link to what the discharge can look like and you really need to be checked out.... it is totally curable, you just need to get checked out and get an antibiotic. semen or seminal fluid? the only time you are not aware of discharge is when you have wet dream..otherwise some men produce large amount of clear fluid-seminal fluid..nature's lubricant....

it sounds like a discharge you may have some sort of infection
