That has been my argument for a long time now about Iraq insurgents. Bush calls it the war on terror. .. I keep saying, 'if some country came into the USA and decided to dictate a new government and new way of life, would we not begin to fight back in any way we could?"

We would begin to do roadside bombs, etc.. anything we could to fight back to retain our way of life.

Also, I guess the militias who helped beat the British using ambushes during the American Revolution were terrorists?

I'm so with your mindset.

Yes, if they "defend" their country by intentionally attacking innocent civilians, they are terrorists. It's just that simple.

It IS possible to defend your country without blowing up innocent civilians on a regular basis. In both the American War of Independence and the U.S. Civil War, all sides managed to avoid the intentional slaughter of civilians.

Hell no way, No logic will support!! but I guess some irrational ( Media, Governments, evil supporters and some illiterate people ) would blindly accuse the defenders of being terrorists.

Let me salute you for such a question, I believe it gives the chance to some to revise their stands and understandings of some definitions!!! very important.

Yes, they can be called that but the fact of them being terrorists shouldn't rely on what people are told and given through filtered media.

Yes, I think so.

For the sake of discussion, let's say that Mexico invaded South Texas. If the Texan resistance started blowing up Mexican school children, then I think it would be fair to call them terrorists. If the Texas resistance confined their attacks to military targets, supply lines, and adult collaborators, I think it would be unreasonable to call them terrorists.

Just my two cents ...
