what do u think about that america refuse stoping war in lebanon and each day more people die in the tow sides
and gave some signals about using the veto against any project to stop war in lebanon
and also now provide israel with more weapons
what is the idea of that ?

Israel and America historically go hand in hand. Or I can site what Ariel Sharon said on an Israeli radio broadcast " We control America, and America knows it". American interest in the Lebanon war is to get into Syria and Iran. They are hoping to piss them off by what they are doing to the Lebanese people enough to make them make just one small move to help Lebanon so that they can start bombing Syria and Lebanon also.

Because we (U.S.) support Israel and their actions against a terrorist group, the Hezbollah. If their is anyone to blame for this conflict it is Lebanon. A country that is trying to become a democratic state but allowed the Hezbolla power in their government. You can't have it both ways. They have a picture of a rifle on their cute little yellow flag. That alone shows that their still terrorists that need to be removed. Israel is in a hostile area of the world and will not back down from these actions. They can't afford to. This terrorist group had their warning complete with a time table to do what was right by returning Israeli troops and did not comply. I feel no remorse for Lebanon or the terrorist organizations they support. I feel that Israel is right on track with what they are doing.
Sorry there is not much remorse here, but I'm sure the Hezbollah doesn't harbor much either.

Was it allright to try to destroy Israel? Israel tried in every way possible to live peacefully with its neighbors. They are surrounded on all sides with countries that harbor terrorists. From the day Israel was established, the attacks began. The Israelis even bulldozed their own settlements and gave the land to the Arabs, but nothing short of the annihilation of Israel would satisfy them. The suicide bombers got on Israeli school buses and went into the market places. Missiles were aimed at resorts and cities and hundreds more were poised on the border. Israel even built a wall but it didn't keep the terrorists out. When 2 soldiers were kidnapped, Israel had enough. The did what the US should be doing; they went after the terrorist's headquarters and training grounds. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries. Israel is the only ally of the US in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. They have a right to defend themselves.

America is not at war with Lebanon. Israel is a sovereign state that makes it's own decisions.
The weapons being shipped to Israel are precision guided bombs that are so accurate, they can target a specific window on a specific building. This will REDUCE civilian casualties, because Israel will be able to hit Hezbollah targets with precision.

Why doesn't Hezbollah just give back the damn Israeli soldiers? Anyway, why should we try and stop it? You people over there seem bound and determined to murder each other, there's nothing we, or anyone, can do about that.
Israel and Lebanon need to work out your own issues with each other. Quit begging the US to help you people out of every little problem you get yourselves into, then curse our very existence when we do try to help.

Why should the US tell them to stop, the US always tells Israel to show restraint, but Israel keeps getting bombed, what would the US president do if someone started shooting rockets into Chicago.

Why should Israel stop? Why doesn't Hezzbolah lay down its weapons and stop....you'll find peace instantly if the groups that Hate Israel so much just stopped and made peace.....if Israel laid down its weapons what would happen? 13000 rockets is what happened since they left Lebanon...look what good it did them.

America is intent on toppling Iran. With Isreal's help in weaking the Shiite militants, the U.S.-Isreal co-military operation of conquering middle-eastern oil interests becomes closer to a reality. The U.S. has no interest in stopping Isreal because we are, in fact, assisting them.

We are damned if we do, and Damned if we dont. If USA did get involved I can see all the questions. Why dosenty the USA stay out of it.
We are not the worlds keeper. and we have the right to pick and choose what wars we fight.
