Faithfully - Journey

Open Arms - Journey

Everything I Do - Bryan Adams

Old Flame - Alabama

Old Lang Syne - Dan Fogelberg

Hard For Me to Say I'm Sorry - Chicago

I Wanna Take Forever Tonight - Crystal Bernard / Peter Cetera

After All- Cher/ Peter Cetera

Heaven in Your Eyes - Loverboy

The Dance - Garth Brooks

Unanswered Prayers - Garth Brooks

I can go on forever, but this will give you a really good "cooling out" list to take away the days worries and troubles....break out the candles, the Calgone, and a nice cold drink (your choice)...

The most relaxing love song I can think of is "I Only Have Eyes For You" by the Flamingos. If you don't drift off into La La land after listening to this--you've had too much caffeine (lol)!

I know it's an oldie but it's a great song. That's why it's used in so many movies! Hope this helps. :)

There are so very, very many from which to choose.
The current favourite is "Longing" recorded by Jill Cohn on her 2002 album 'Window To The Wise'.
An exquisite melody and a exquisite performance that always takes one's breath away with every listen..
Its lyric:

Love will leave you longing for a fairy tale
Love will leave you longing for the ones that failed
Love will leave you thirsty with a drink that doesn't quench
Love will make you strong and sassy, but it won't give an inch
Love will leave you longing for everything but love
Love will leave you high and dry
Will never be quite enough

Love will leave you vying for attention and privilege
Love will leave you bound to your children and the house you live in
Love will leave you lamenting for what was and never could be
Love will leave you diving in to the deeper meanings
Love will leave you longing for everything but love
Love will leave you high and dry
Will never be quite enough

Love will never leave

Love will leave you hungry when you think you've had enough to eat
Love will leave you dying for a God you could meet
Love will bless the peace makers, the war mongers, the reuniters
Bless us all because we're looking for it
Love will leave you longing for everything but love
Love will leave you high and dry
Will never be quite enough
Love will leave you
Love will leave you longing
Love will never leave

"Dance With My Father" by Luther Vandross. it's a beautiful song. Maybe wrong kind of love, though.

"Careless Whispers", the Dave Koz feat. Montell Jordan version.

Oh my list could go on forever. Here are some examples:
1. "Crazy In Love"- Nicol Sponberg
2. "Almost Paradise"- Loverboy feat. Ann Wilson (that chick from Heart)
3. "When I See You Smile" - ?????? (good song, but don't know who sings it)
4. "I'll Be Over You"- Toto (good break-up song)
5. "I Knew I Loved You"- Savage Garden (I love this song)

Please don't ask me to pick just one!
Right off the top of my head, I can think of "I Swear...", "The Chair" by George Strait, "When A Man Loves A Woman" by Percy Sledge, "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" from Kevin Costner's version of Robin Hood, and "Have You Ever Really, Really Ever Loved A Woman" by Bryan Adams.

"Love of My Life" - by Jim Brickman (sung by Michael W. Smith)

I am amazed
When i look at you
I see you smiling back at me
It's like all my dreams come true
I am afraid
If i lost you girl
I'd fall through the cracks
And lose me track in this crazy lonely world

Sometimes it's so hard to believe
When the nights can be so long
And He gave me the strength
And kept me holding on

Chorus
You are the love of my life
And I'm so glad you found me
You are the love of my life
Baby put your arms around me
I guess this is how it feels
When you finally find something real
My angel in the night
You are my love
The love of my life

Now here you are
With midnight closing in
You take my hand as our shadows dance
With moonlite on your skin

I look in your eyes
I'm lost inside your kiss
I think if i'd never met you
About all the things i'd missed

sometimes it's so hard to believe
when a love can be so strong
and faith gave me the strength
and kept me holding on

(Chorus)
