Some young men will often say they like certain fads or cults because they think it makes them appear controversial, smart or mysterious. Yaoi is probably one such cult, and the nature of it is something that girls may find threatening. You girls nowadays do seem to have trouble finding reasonably genuine young men to go-out with. There maybe nothing wrong with this boy other than a vivid imagination, and a desire to tease you. If, however your iistinct is telling you otherwise, then send him on his way. You'll find the right guy eventually.
