Any glue is toxic if injested. Since this is for your child or children - I would suggest you buy a new beach toy.

They sale repair kits normally where they sale the toys. Try Walmart.

Go to a store that sells waterbeds and buy a hole repair kit.. it will hold better then the flimsy nylon patches :)

Bike puncture repair kits ( heavy duty ones ) , they rarely work though.
Buy a new one.

go to any cycle shop and use the glue for mending tyre punctures....its waterproof too, you can also use the patches for tyres to repair large holes and tears.

At Wal-Mart and home depot there is a Monkey Glue it is the best.
