How do you feel about taxi cabs?

Do you take them? In what cities? Do use use them when you drink? Everyday? Would you share a taxi?

Taxi drivers are NUTZ! They always try to run people over and drive too fast.

I only take them if I absolutely have to. I think they are nasty. I would never share one with a stranger. I prefer to drive my own car.
