A couple possibilities. The first line you gave, I don't have a clue. Very few of the songs in the 60's pertaining to Vietnam, actually mention it (the "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag", by Country Joe and the Fish being one of the main exceptions.)
Your last line seems to be a cross between two different subtle war protest songs. The first is "People Got to Be Free", by The Rascals, and the second is "If I Had a Hammer", sung by Peter, Paul, and Mary (throughout this song, they sing "all over this land"). Both songs had extensive airplay. I'll provide links to the lyrics of both songs...
