unison have excluded bank nursing staff from making an equal pay claim against the NHS. This seems like discrimination towards bank staff who will not be able to make a claim via their union. Can anyone advise me on this. many thanks.

Are you talking about bank staff employed via the NHS? I'm unsure of the answer, but nurses can bank with private agencies also and can get varied work , not only in hospitals, but the private sector; this has the added advantage of you being able to gain further experience in other fields!

Are Bank nursing staff ( whoever they are ) members of unison ?

If they are not , tough.

Unison union members pay their dues for them to act on their behalf... not to act for others.

I think you need to clarify what 'bank nursing staff' is.

ALL nurses need to be paid a butt load more than they get. They are a critical and under appreciated resource we all need to fund.
