Why would it be wrong to have male friends if you are married? If it just friendship and no sex or sexual attractions involved, then what's wrong with it? The world is made up of men and women, why would you limit yourself to just having female friends. Makes no sense. Do you mind if your husband has female friends?

I'm guessing, your husband is giving you a hard time re. male friends?
In my personal experience, a "male friend" is usually one of the following: 1) A guy who wants to sleep with you 2) A guy you have slept with in the past but it didn't work out 3) Your female friend's husband/boyfriend 4) Your husband's/boyfriend's/brother's friend 5) A common friend of you and your husband/boyfriend, possibly married or in a relationship (a couples' friendship). My guess is that our partners only have a problem with 1) and 2), and these are what seem to be the most common cases of "male friends". Technically, there's nothing wrong with hanging out with guys who are "just friends", but I can see why it might make your partner uncomfortable. Some guys are more "okay" with it than others - but, either way, if you want to keep the peace, his feelings about it must be respected.
But then again, if you're involved in activity that causes you to interact with guys (some "guy" sport, a wood-working workshop, and whatsnot), but you have never given him a reason to think that there's anything more to it - then he's probably just over-reacting, and a calm discussion is in order.

It is wrong if your husband disagrees , If the two of you have mutual male friends and he is comfortable with that than its ok .
really it boils down too whats good for you is good for him , this can cause a ton or problems .
so the question really is.. Would you be comfortable with your man having female friends ?

Yes it is WRONG ..IF YOU AND THE HUSBAND DON'T AGREE....& VICE VERSA. He can spot male snake in the grass quicker than you; just like you can spot the female snake in the grass quicker than he could. AND ANYTHING YOU DO OR SAY WITH SOMEONE THAT YOU WOULD NOT WANT YOUR SPOUSE TO KNOW IS WRONG TOO....DECEITFUL. ( UNLESS IT'S A SUPRISE B- DAY PARTY!)

Nothing wrong with it if they are also friends with your husband. If you only see these friends without his presence then yes, it is wrong.

Not at all, it's not a big deal as long as they are only friends.

I think that would depend on how your husband feels about that.
