President Bush has never been, nor has he ever claimed to be, a prophet of God. You sound like a nut when you ask such a question about a man who is trying to make the world a better place for future generations. Shame on you.

First of all, nobody knows if there is a god.
But, for the sake of argument, assuming there is a god, let's examine the definition of the word "prophet". From dictionary.com:

proph·et ( P ) Pronunciation Key (prft)
n.
A person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of a god is expressed.

- Yeah right. Okay, next.

A person gifted with profound moral insight and exceptional powers of expression.

- LOL!

A predictor; a soothsayer.

- Possibly. If you happen to predict the opposite of what's really going to happen.

The chief spokesperson of a movement or cause.

- Okay. I'll give you this one. But I don't think it has anything to do with god.

I have read that some claim his family is somehow tied into the bloodline of king David... though i bet it would be impossible to truly find that out.

It says in the bible...according to the old testament.. you recognize a true prophet by if what he speaks ( seriously prophesizes about) comes true. I know for a fact he has quoted the words of the prophet Isaiah in several of his speeches.

You really are giving the guy too much credit. He is just a man. Not a very articulate man, but a man just the same. He never claimed to be a prophet, but if I had to choose, I think he will be alright. He hasn't done anything that anybody else hasn't done. Let he with no sin upon his hands cast the first stone.

Bush has never claimed to be a prophet. Why don't you Libs find some new ammo. This, "I hate Bush" is getting old, and tired, and haven't you heard? It's not winning you elections. Grow up.

Who the hell said Bush was any kind of prophet? Who ultimately goes to hell is God's decision and not that of an idiot like you!

Yea ..your somewhere else on this one.. he did say that God chose him to be president and that thought was echoed by his mom who said " I believe God chose my son" but a prophet ? Ummmm no ! .. you could say he's profited from god.. or using the word God. I don't think he really believes in god. He is what I would call a convenient Christian. If it would serve his purpose he'd be a Hindu ..

It would help your case if Bush actually claimed to be a prophet. And I don't mean this to sound as mean as it is, but it would also help your case about the whole education thing if you spell-checked your details.

He isn't a prophet of God, period. Try concentrating on the real prophets of God, the ones found in the Bible.
